This Privacy Policy explains how Startup Farmers s.r.o., trading as Deal Harvest ("Deal Harvest", "we", "us"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data when you visit dealharvest.co (the "Site"), submit an enquiry through our website form, respond to one of our advertising campaigns — including LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms — or otherwise interact with us. It is written to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the platform policies of the advertising networks we use, including LinkedIn.
1. Who we are
The data controller responsible for your personal data is:
Startup Farmers s.r.o. (trading as Deal Harvest)
Lenardova 8, 851 01 Bratislava, Slovak Republic
VAT ID: SK2122732524
Email: hello@dealharvest.co
Phone: +421 940 473 602
2. Data we collect
a) Information you submit directly
When you fill in the "Get Started Today" form on our Site, or otherwise contact us, we collect:
- Email address
- LinkedIn profile URL
- Business industry
- The plan or service you're interested in
- Any information you include in messages to us (e.g. via email or our booking link)
b) Information collected through LinkedIn advertising
When you respond to one of our LinkedIn ads using a native Lead Gen Form, LinkedIn transmits the information you submit (typically name, email address, job title, company name, and other fields you complete) directly to us. See Section 3 for details.
c) Information collected automatically (cookies & similar technologies)
Our Site uses the following tools, which may set cookies or process your IP address:
- Plausible Analytics — a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool that reports aggregate visit statistics without tracking individuals or storing personal data across sites.
- Google Tag Manager, which on this Site currently loads:
- Google Analytics (GA4) — collects usage data (pages viewed, device/browser type, approximate location) via cookies.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag — measures the performance of our LinkedIn advertising campaigns and enables retargeting of Site visitors on LinkedIn.
- BizMachine WebTracks — identifies, at a company level, which organisations are visiting our Site based on IP address, for B2B sales and marketing purposes. This does not identify individual visitors.
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. We are working on adding a cookie consent banner to give you more granular, upfront control over analytics and advertising cookies; in the meantime, you can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage LinkedIn's ad settings via your LinkedIn advertising preferences.
3. LinkedIn Lead Ads & Lead Gen Forms
Deal Harvest's advertising on LinkedIn is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, and is not otherwise affiliated with, LinkedIn Corporation.
We run advertising campaigns on LinkedIn, which may use LinkedIn's native Lead Gen Forms. If you submit your details through one of these forms:
- You are first shown a form pre-filled by LinkedIn using your LinkedIn profile data.
- By clicking submit, you consent to LinkedIn sharing the information in that form with Deal Harvest.
- Once we receive it, Deal Harvest becomes the data controller for that information and handles it under this Privacy Policy — to follow up about the specific service or plan you expressed interest in.
- LinkedIn's own collection and use of your data on its platform is governed separately by the LinkedIn Privacy Policy, which we encourage you to review.
4. Legal basis & purpose of processing
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|
| Responding to enquiries submitted via our website form or LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — given when you submit the form |
| Providing services to clients under a signed agreement | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Direct marketing follow-up related to your enquiry | Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), withdrawable at any time |
| Site analytics and keeping the Site secure and operational | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Bookkeeping and invoicing for paying clients | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) under Slovak accounting law |
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf ("processors"):
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Google Workspace (Google Drive / Sheets) | Storing and managing lead and contact records (our CRM) |
| Google Analytics & Tag Manager | Website analytics (see Section 2c) |
| LinkedIn Corporation | Delivering our ads, Insight Tag conversion tracking, and transmitting Lead Gen Form submissions to us |
| BizMachine | Company-level website visitor identification (see Section 2c) |
| Calendly | Scheduling calls with prospective clients |
| Cloudflare | Website hosting security and content delivery |
We may also disclose data where required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Deal Harvest, our clients, or others.
6. International transfers
Deal Harvest is established in the EU. Some of the providers listed in Section 5 — including Google and LinkedIn — are global companies whose EU/EEA customers contract with their EU entity, but whose infrastructure may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where this happens, it is safeguarded by mechanisms recognised under GDPR Chapter V, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not otherwise transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA.
7. How long we keep your data
We retain personal data collected through our website form or LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms for up to 12 months from the date of collection, or until you withdraw consent or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If a lead becomes a paying client, information needed for the contract and for statutory bookkeeping is retained for as long as required under Slovak law (generally up to 10 years for accounting records). We securely delete or anonymise data once these periods expire.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (see Section 11)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@dealharvest.co. We will respond within one month, as required by law.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, including restricted access to our CRM and use of reputable, security-conscious infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data protected proportionate to its sensitivity.
10. Children's privacy
Our Site and services are directed at business professionals and are not intended for individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Contact & complaints
Questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data can be sent to hello@dealharvest.co.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak data protection supervisory authority:
